Ecological wine is elaborated to obtain a product of the maximum quality which respects the environment at the same time, without using chemical fertilisers or herbicides that can damage the soil and the plants. How can we fight the illnesses and lacks of the grapevine then? Organic fertilisers (cattle dung) are used to make plants grow well and contact products like sulphur, copper and Bacilus Thuringiensis are used to combat most of the grape diseases.
